The range of Brendan's students testify his ability to tailor his students' needs; from those interested in health and longevity to those who pursue the martial road. His knowledge and understanding of Chinese kung fu is impressive, and reflects his passion and ability in the art. Training with him will build your self confidence, strengthen your body and also along the way be able to progressively protect yourself and your loved ones. Did i mention he's a top bloke too?

Brendan's has a broad knowledge of mixed martial arts, and is a very capable guy that is adept at putting people at ease and making training fun... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to a friend..."
I have trained the art ninjutsu for 2 years before I started Kung fu in newton abbot and I have attended Brendan's seminars regularly over the past year. I feel his teaching, explanation and demonstration of techniques are extremely good and I have learnt a lot in training with Brendan. I look forward to training with him again.

I started training Kung Fu with Brendan Burnett after a few previous years of martial art training in Aikido. I've found Kung Fu to be both beneficial and enlightening and will continue to train as much as possible in the styles that Brendan specialises in.
Brendan has very good understanding of Tai Chi. His forms , pushing hands and applications are excellent. I would recommend his generous and open teaching.
Teaching Tai Chi in Surrey and Hampshire
I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in 1999. I wear leg braces on both legs due to foot drop to help prevent me tripping over my own feet.
I also experienced significant los of muscle in upper torso - across shoulders and in both arms, more so on left side and I am left handed.
Specialist doctors and physio-therapist advised me to use light resistance excersise (swimming etc) to maintain strength but was told I would NOT be able to recover any loss of muscle.
I could only raise both arms in front of me to a 90 degree angle.
The loss of muscle around my neck area resulted in me being in constant pain due to other muscles trying in vain to compensate for the muslces lost and due to the strain on joints.
After a few short weeks of gentle training from Brendan Burnett I began to experience less pain and greater strength in my neck and arms as well as greater flexibility.
I was given advise from Brendan Burnett on supplement products which increased muscle strength even further!
